As a EH&S Coordinator you will be responsible for supporting, implementing, and maintaining occupational health and safety programs within a manufacturing environment. Also ensure compliance with applicable legislation, promote a strong safety culture, and help prevent workplace incidents through proactive risk management and continuous improvement initiatives.What You Can Expect In This Role (Job Responsibilities)Compliance & Regulatory ManagementEnsure compliance with all applicable occupational health and safety legislation and company policiesMaintain awareness of regulatory updates and implement required changesSupport internal and external safety audits and inspectionsPrepare and maintain required safety documentation and recordsIncident Investigation & ReportingLead and support workplace incident, near-miss,



and hazard investigationsIdentify root causes and recommend corrective and preventive actionsComplete and submit required regulatory reports in a timely mannerTrack incident trends and recommend improvement actionsMaintain accurate data information in internal incident tracking platform-VelocityProvide support to team with managing Velocity applicationRisk Assessment & Hazard ControlConduct workplace inspections and hazard assessmentsIdentify risks in manufacturing processes, equipment, and work practicesSupport implementation of engineering, administrative, and PPE controlsReview and update Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and Safe Work ProceduresTraining & Employee EngagementDeliver and coordinate safety training (e.G., onboarding, WHMIS, PPE, emergency response)Organize and Coordinate JHSC meetings.Support joint health and safety committee (JHSC) activitiesPromote safety awareness and continuous improvement in cultureAssist supervisors in reinforcing safe work practicesProgram Development & Continuous ImprovementSupport development and maintenance of health and safety programsParticipate in ergonomic assessments and injury prevention initiativesAssist in emergency preparedness planning and drillsRecommend improvements to safety systems and manufacturing processesWhat we are looking for (Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education)Required Experience2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environmentExperience in metal fabrication, assembly, or mechanical manufacturing is an assetProven experience in incident investigation and safety program implementationPreferred Knowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesStrong knowledge of occupational health and safety legislationExcellent communication and training delivery skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organizationHigh attention to detail and strong organizational skillsComfortable working in a fast-paced production environmentEducation & CertificationsPost-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety or related fieldCRSP or equivalent certification (preferred or in progress)First Aid/CPR certification (asset)Travel & Working EnvironmentManufacturing floor environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and production activityRequirement to wear appropriate PPE at all timesOccasional off-shift work or flexibility required for incident response or auditsHow We Live Our CultureOur culture is at the center of what we do and, more importantly, who we are.
