Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanics and be able to diagnose and repair transport trucks. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to ensuring safety and efficiency in all repairs.

Shift work & hours are negotiable for out of town mechanics and accommodation can be provided.

Wage can be negotiated based upon skill & attitude.

Duties

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Replace or repair defective parts, components, or systems as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used.




- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar role is preferred.
- Solid knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A valid class 3 or class 1 driver's license would be a bonus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $35.00-$90.00 per hour
