CLEANER SUPERVISOR — COMMERCIAL KITCHEN EXHAUST & HOOD CLEANINGLocation: Richmond, BC V7A 1X8 — on the road (Metro Vancouver, Fraser Valley, Sea-to-Sky, including Whistler and Abbotsford)Wage: $39.00 per hourHours: 30 hours per weekEmployment: Permanent, full-timeSchedule: Variable shifts — early morning, day, evening, night, weekends, on callStart date: As soon as possibleABOUT THE ROLEVancouver Hood Doctors is hiring Cleaner Supervisors to lead crews providing commercial kitchen exhaust and hood-system cleaning services for restaurants, hotels, schools, and commercial facilities across Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, and the Sea-to-Sky corridor.RESPONSIBILITIESSupervise and co-ordinate the activities of 1-2 cleaning staff working on commercial kitchen exhaust systemsAssist with deep cleaning and degreasing of hoods, ducts, plenums, fans, filters, access panels, and related hood-system componentsEstablish work schedules, assign duties, and co-ordinate crews for on-the-road service appointmentsPrepare budget and cost estimates for specialized cleaning jobs, keep records, and receive payment from clients on completed workProtect client property by setting up drop cloths, poly-sheeting,



and containment before cleaning beginsInspect sites and completed work to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met, including alignment with NFPA 96 standardsTrain or arrange training for cleaning staff in job duties, safety procedures, equipment use, and company standardsResolve work-related problems and communicate job progress and site conditions to management and customersOperate and oversee the protected use of pressure washers, scrapers, degreasers, hot-water systems, ladders, and other commercial cleaning toolsMaintain inventory of supplies and equipment and report deficienciesREQUIREMENTSSecondary (high) school graduation certificate1 year to less than 2 years of experience, including commercial kitchen exhaust / hood-system cleaning. This experience is required because the supervisor inspects completed work, trains staff, and ensures NFPA 96 safety standards are met.Supervisory experience in commercial or industrial cleaningValid BC driver's licence (Class 5 or 7)Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in wet, noisy, dusty conditionsAvailable for variable shifts including overnights and weekends, with frequent regional travelYou must be legally authorized to work in Canada.#J-18808-Ljbffr
