This position offers an exciting chance to support settlement activities in a fast-paced environment, providing exposure to client'splatforms, prime brokerage, securities lending, and more. The role involves ensuring timely reconciliation, trade matching, and settlement processes. Pay rate range (CAD): $17.60/hr– $27.70/hrResponsibilitiesSupport client'ssettlement operations, including data processing and input across various platformsPerform daily reconciliations to identify financial discrepancies and ensure accuracyInvestigate and respond promptly to client and partner inquiries, escalating when necessaryComplete trade matching, reporting, and CDS Arrow procedures prior to T+1 deadlinesReconcile suspense and clearing outages, ensuring timely resolution and communicationPrepare and review international trade settlement reports and liaise with clients as neededMaintain documentation of processes and procedures on SharePoint; assist with updates andreviewsMonitor international market buy-in rules and implement risk mitigation strategiesEnsure settlement statistics are updated daily and manage group email inboxes efficientlyMatch and affirm DTC trade confirms on T+1 to facilitate settlementEnsure compliance with all applicable policies, regulations, and operational proceduresEngage in cross-training to develop broader understanding of team functions and support coverage during absencesAdhere to high standards of accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality in all work activitiesParticipate actively in team meetings, coaching,
