April 7, 2026 NORTH WELLINGTON HEALTH CARE LOUISE MARSHALL HOSPITAL & PALMERSTON AND DISTRICT HOSPTIAL POSTING #2026-73 ULTRASOUND TECHNOLOGIST (SONOGRAPHER) (CROSS-SITE - TEMPORARY PART TIME) One (1) temporary part time cross-site Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) position is available in the Diagnostic Imaging Department at North Wellington Health Care (Louise Marshall Hospital & Palmerston and District Hospital). The homesite for this position is Louise Marshall Hospital. This position is unionized with OPSEU.

REQUIREMENTS - Graduate of a Canadian Accredited Ultrasound Training Program

- Current Membership with the CMRTO and proof of professional liability insurance
- Small parts, general, abdominal, obstetrical experience
- NT (Nuchal Translucency) certification is preferred
- Vascular (Carotids etc.) ABI exams and MSK Shoulders and Knees etc.) experience is preferred or working towards
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position




- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with many and varied internal and external individuals, groups, and agencies
- Other duties as required
- Satisfactory performance and attendance required
- Satisfactory Reference Checks required prior to start date
- Must provide a Police Vulnerable Sector Check
- Must complete a Pre-Employment Health Assessment prior to being hired HOURS OF WORK - As per department schedule
