Design Operations (Design Ops) Manager
We are seeking a Design Operations Manager to optimize, scale, and support the design function across our organization. This role focuses on process, systems, tools, and cross‑team collaboration, enabling designers to focus on delivering high quality creative and UX outcomes efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the day‑to‑day operational management of the design team, including resource planning, workflow optimization, and process improvement.
- Support adoption and operational integration of design systems, frameworks, and best practices to ensure consistency across products and platforms.
- Partner with product, engineering, and design leadership to align priorities, streamline processes, and remove bottlenecks.
- Manage tools, templates, and platforms used by the design team to maximize efficiency and collaboration.
- Establish metrics and KPIs to measure design effectiveness, efficiency, and impact.
- Support scaling design teams, onboarding new hires, and facilitating cross‑team knowledge sharing.

- Define and manage design intake processes across teams.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in design operations, project management, or program management within a design organization.
- Strong understanding of design systems, UX workflows, and visual design principles.
- Experience managing tools and platforms such as Figma, Sketch, Miro, Jira, Confluence, or similar.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to translate business objectives into design processes and operational strategies.
- Experience in cross‑functional team coordination and resource planning.
- Comfortable with metrics, reporting, and data‑driven decision making.
- Experience working with analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics).
- Experience supporting or coordinating user research and usability testing.
Product Designer
We are looking to hire Senior Product Designer in Mississauga, ON or Montreal, QC immediately who has experience in Figma, Product Design.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our team on a contract basis. The right person for this role works comfortably across complex UX problems and polished visual design without losing quality at either end. You bring a solid eye for visual hierarchy, typography, and interaction detail, and you are direct about trade‑offs, comfortable working across teams, and bring a clear point of view to the work.
This is a role with broad reach. You will work across multiple product streams and teams, including product, and design systems, contributing wherever the work requires.
Responsibilities:
- Drive end‑to‑end design across multiple product streams, covering entire user journeys from concept to delivery.
- Translate complex requirements into intuitive, well‑structured flows that balance UX rigor with strong visual design rooted in purpose.
- Craft high‑quality interfaces with a strong eye for visual hierarchy, typography, motion, and detail to drive emotionally engaging experiences.
- Design across platforms including web and mobile, with attention to responsive behavior and mobile‑first considerations.
- Partner with engineering, system, and research teams to ensure design intent is carried through implementation.
- Work within our established design system, applying components, tokens, and patterns accurately and consistently,
and raising gaps or inconsistencies with the design systems team when you find them.
- Collaborate with Scrum Masters and Program Managers to align on priorities and timelines.
- Advocate for the user by surfacing pain points, proposing solutions, and iterating based on feedback.
- Contribute to design system work during periods when additional capacity is needed.
- Stay current on product design trends, tools, and interaction patterns, and bring relevant thinking back to the team.
- Ensure designs meet WCAG standards and that accessibility is considered at the start, not just applied after the fact.
- Experience designing complete user journeys, not just individual screens, with a strong grasp of flow, structure, and decision points across an experience.
- A highly developed eye for detail, visual hierarchy, and interaction quality.
- An appreciation for limitations and viewing them as opportunities to innovate.
- Solid command of Figma, including prototyping and component usage.
- Experience working within a design system, with a solid understanding of components, tokens, and pattern‑based design.
- The ability to explain your design decisions clearly to both design and non‑design partners.
- Experience working in cross‑functional teams with product, engineering, and research.
- Comfort working on both broadly defined concepts and narrowly scoped features.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a quick‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
- Experience with mobile‑first and responsive design across multiple breakpoints.
- A cooperative and comfortable attitude who is eager to find clever solutions to complex problems.
Exceptional Candidates Will Have:
- Hands‑on experience contributing to or maintaining a design system, beyond just consuming it.
- Familiarity with design tokens and how they are structured and applied across products.
- Exposure to A/B testing, analytics, or user research to inform and validate design decisions.
- Experience working within multi‑brand or multi‑platform product environments.
- Motion design skills and an understanding of how animation and transitions enhance user experiences.
- Familiarity with enterprise‑scale product ecosystems.
- Experience with prototyping tools such as Figma, Framer or otherwise.
