The Town of Oakville is seeking a Tree Protection Inspector for a nine-month term. In this role, you will inspect properties to ensure adherence to tree protection by-laws and engage with residents to provide necessary information. You'll be responsible for documenting investigations and ensuring compliance during various construction projects or site alterations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect properties for conformance with tree protection by-laws
• Assist the public with tree-related inquiries and information




• Initiate prosecution for unresolved by-law violations
• Record detailed facts of investigations electronically
• Maintain tree databases and documentation

Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in Forestry or Arboriculture
• 3-5 years of relevant urban forestry experience
• Certified Arborist credential required
