Shape the future of material processing with NuWave as a Mechanical Engineer EIT. This role focuses on design, development, and team-oriented projects in an innovative environment.
As part of the engineering team, you will support various concurrent projects under the guidance of a Senior Mechanical Engineer. Your responsibilities will include project monitoring and assisting with the coaching of Co-op Engineering Students. By ensuring compliance with engineering standards, you will contribute significantly to production goals and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and execute development projects under senior guidance
• Assist in coaching Co-op Engineering Students and drafters
• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards for engineering drawings
• Develop and verify standard operating procedures for manufacturing
• Communicate scheduling changes to the Engineering Manager
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Registered with Engineers and Geoscientists BC
• 2+ years in production and manufacturing
• Proficiency in SolidWorks 3D CAD and Composer
• Hands-on experience with CNC technology
