Summary

We are seeking Equipment Operators to support construction projects throughout the Edmonton area. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining equipment safely and efficiently while supporting project execution, productivity, and quality on site. Key Responsibilities

Operate construction equipment safely and efficiently

Coordinate daily work activities with supervisors and site crews

Support excavation, trenching, grading, and general civil construction work

Participate in site safety meetings and follow all safety procedures

Assist with hoisting and rigging activities as required

Identify and communicate potential project or site issues

Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance

Report equipment deficiencies and repair requirements

Support crew operations and provide guidance to less experienced workers when required

Ensure work is completed to project specifications, quality standards, and schedules

Qualifications
Required

Minimum 3 years of construction experience

Experience operating construction equipment

Ground Disturbance Training





Hoisting and Rigging experience

Working knowledge of hydraulic equipment

Strong knowledge of civil construction practices

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Valid Class 5 Driver's License

Must have a valid Class 5 Driver’s License.

Solid written and verbal communication skills.

Assets

Class 3 Driver's License with Air Brake (Q) Endorsement

Experience mentoring or coaching apprentices

Additional construction safety certifications
