Advance your career in oncology with the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency as a full time Radiation Oncologist at the Saskatoon Cancer Centre. This permanent role requires expertise in radiation oncology alongside collaborative care.
As a key member of the oncology care team, you will work with nurses, pharmacists, and therapists, utilizing state-of-the-art Varian equipment. The position includes participation in clinical trials and teaching medical students and residents. The role supports both the HDR prostate brachytherapy program and innovative SRS brain and SBRT lung programs to enhance patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary oncology care teams
• Utilize advanced Varian equipment for patient treatments
• Engage in teaching and mentoring medical students
• Participate in clinical research trials and treatment planning
• Contribute to expanding existing cancer treatment programs
Requirements:
• Medical degree with radiation oncology subspecialty
• Fellowship in Gynecological Brachytherapy preferred
• Eligible for licensure in Saskatchewan
• Background or training in relevant Oncology practices
• Fluent in written and spoken English
