A well-regarded Calgary general contractor is adding a Site Superintendent to their team to run day-to-day operations on an active ICI (Industrial, Commercial, Institutional) project.

This is a single, dedicated hire, not a rotating cast, so you'll get real ownership over your site from mobilization through handover.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Manage all in office activity, from mobilization through final handover
Direct trades and subcontractors to keep the schedule on track
Own site safety: toolbox talks, inspections, and incident response
Coordinate deliveries, laydown, and overall site logistics
Run quality control checks and manage the deficiency process
Keep the Project Manager looped in on progress, issues, and changes
Maintain thorough daily documentation

About You
The successful candidate will have the following:

5+ years as a Site Superintendent on ICI builds




Working knowledge of the Alberta Building Code and OH&S; standards
Track record managing multiple trades on a live site
Calm under pressure and direct in communication
Valid driver's license and own transportation
Formal construction education is an asset, not a requirement

About the Job
This is a permanent, full-time position with a base salary in the $95,000 to $135,000 range depending on experience, plus full benefits.
