The University of Toronto Libraries seeks an Archivist specializing in Hong Kong Collections. With a Master's Degree in Archival Studies and extensive experience in library environments, your role includes acquiring, arranging, and cataloguing archival materials relating to Hong Kong. Join a team-oriented team dedicated to inclusivity and advancing knowledge within the community.

Key Responsibilities:
• Appraise and acquire archival records on Hong Kong
• Collaborate with libraries to enhance collections




• Meet potential donors to assess materials for donation
• Conduct original descriptive cataloguing of resources
• Address reference inquiries from community members

Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Archival Studies or equivalent
• 6-7 years in library or archives settings
• Fluency in written and spoken Cantonese
• Familiarity with archival standards and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
