This role demands a highly skilled engineer with expertise in Damage Tolerance Analysis, fatigue and fracture mechanics, and aerospace engineering principles. You will engage in evaluating Airbus data, identifying structural damage, and assessing crack propagation. The position requires strong analytical abilities and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and evaluate provided Airbus structural data
• Identify and map aircraft damage within structural drawings
• Assess potential crack growth scenarios and their implications
• Analyze impact of repairs on Structural Significant Items (SSIs)
• Perform residual strength evaluations to meet airworthiness requirements
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience with Damage Tolerance Analysis methodologies
• Strong knowledge of FAA/EASA certification requirements
• Proficiency with analysis tools and Airbus processes
• Capable of working in cross-functional teams
