Responsibilities

Reporting to a Senior Vice President of the Institutional Services team, the Vice President – Institutional Services role requires proactive client relationship management for a portfolio of asset managers, endowments, and multi-family offices.

Key duties include

- Establish professional relationships with clients and key internal/external parties.
- Drive strategic communication with clients and negotiate service level agreements.
- Understand and communicate clients’ requests with various Citco business functions, operational and support teams.
- Develop a broad understanding of Citco business lines and associated products/services.
- Understand industry and regulatory environment, identifying new areas of growth.
- Participate in RFP documentation and present demos to prospective clients.
- Hold strong knowledge of multi-asset portfolios inclusive of fund investments.
- Be familiar with Citco’s technology platforms and learn quickly.
- Understand the duties and workflow of functional groups supporting multi-asset portfolio administration.




- Identify opportunities to expand relationships through cross-selling and new client integrations.
- Lead or participate in projects for business evolution.
- Monitor and manage client SLAs and operational deliverables.
- Review client profitability and accounts receivables, addressing negative trends.
- Collaborate with Operations to streamline processes and reduce operational risk.
- Review risk logs, coordinate incident resolution, and support communication.
- Conduct operational due diligence reviews and client visits.
- Compile periodic board reports, KPIs, and scorecards; perform risk assessments and peer reviews.
- Maintain client status, commentary, and updates in internal CRM tools.
- Provide training and supervision to Managers on the Client Services team.

Qualifications

- University degree in a relevant discipline with 7+ years of related experience in financial services, preferably within a hedge fund administrator or investment company.
- 2+ years of formal people management/leadership experience.
- Proven interest and knowledge of the financial markets and hedge fund industry.
- Demonstrated leadership with superior communication skills.
- Highly analytical with robust business process, accounting and allocation system knowledge.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel and PowerPoint) and Outlook.

Salary Range

CAD 119,000 - 161,000
