The successful candidate will be a strategic leader in financial governance, responsible for providing vision, strategy, and collaborative leadership to support finance and support services leaders. This role is pivotal in integrating prudent financial management with operational effectiveness, and the VP & CFO will be accountable for all support services portfolios, including facilities, maintenance, dietary services, payroll, and health information management. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-7 years' senior leadership experience in a healthcare environment, with a strong background in financial analysis, public sector reporting, and auditing. A professional accounting designation and a Master's degree in a related field are required,



with additional certifications in long-term care administration and CHE designation considered assets.Key responsibilities for the VP & CFO include directing annual operating and capital planning, stewarding multi-year financial strategies, and overseeing performance measurement and transparent reporting. The role also involves procurement leadership, audit oversight, enterprise risk management, and compliance within a complex healthcare funding setting. The candidate must be a trusted advisor to the President and CEO and the Board, with the ability to anticipate fiscal and operational pressures and guide complex initiatives. Engagement with external groups such as Ontario Health and the Ministries of Health and Long-Term Care will require political acuity, credibility, and sound judgment.
