Duties & Responsibilities:

Prepare computer-aided (CADD) engineering drawings, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for municipal infrastructure projects.

Conduct field surveys, collect and analyze engineering data, and provide construction staking and as-built information.

Maintain and update engineering records, maps, and infrastructure drawings.

Develop and maintain drafting, mapping, and digital submission standards.

Provide technical support and collaborate with City departments, consultants, contractors, utilities, and the public.

Assist with project administration, regulatory compliance, and other engineering-related duties as assigned.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Required

CADD or Civil Engineering Technology Diploma (or equivalent) from a recognized post-secondary institution.





Solid knowledge of Computer-Aided Design & Drafting (CADD) related to municipal engineering and mapping.

Experience with surveying techniques and survey equipment (Total - - Station, GPS, Automatic Level).

Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

Applied Science Technologist (A.Sc.T.) designation.

Experience working with municipal infrastructure projects and GIS mapping.

Demonstrated abilities in the use of ESRI GIS software.

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 7:30 am 4:30 pm (37.5 hours per week).
