The Client:
Our client is a global leader in mining equipment, technology, and services, supporting underground hard rock mining operations around the world. This position will join the Parts and Service division and play a key role in delivering technical and operator training for advanced underground mining equipment. Working with service teams, dealers, and customers, you will help strengthen equipment knowledge, safe operating practices, maintenance capabilities, and overall product performance through classroom, virtual, simulator-based, and hands-on training.

What you will achieve in this role:

Deliver technical and operator training for underground hard rock mining equipment, including bolters, jumbos, loaders, and haul trucks.

Facilitate training at customer sites, dealer locations, factory learning facilities, and through virtual and equipment simulator platforms.

Support the development and continuous improvement of technical and operator training programs aligned with new equipment and product launches.

Collaborate with engineering, product, service, and operational teams to ensure training materials are accurate, practical, and delivered on schedule.

Provide instruction on the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of underground mining equipment.

Utilize advanced learning technologies and simulation systems to create engaging and practical training experiences.

Serve as a frontline technical resource during equipment demonstrations, customer inquiries, warranty reviews, and technical support activities.

Ensure all training programs comply with applicable health and safety regulations, internal quality standards, and industry requirements.

Travel to customer and dealer locations globally to deliver hands-on training and equipment support.

Promote continuous improvement, technical knowledge, and operational excellence across the organization’s global service network.





What you must bring to this role:

Technical trades diploma or bachelor’s degree in Engineering with practical heavy equipment experience.

Minimum five years of experience maintaining or operating heavy equipment within an underground mining environment.

Hands-on experience with underground hard rock mining equipment such as bolters, jumbos, loaders, and trucks.

Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems or proven experience safely operating mining equipment with an understanding of equipment performance.

Experience facilitating technical, equipment, or operator training is considered a strong asset.

Experience working with battery electric vehicle equipment is considered an asset.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain detailed technical information clearly.

Confident public speaking and presentation skills with the ability to engage technical and operational audiences.

Strong computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic learning platforms.

Adaptable, self-motivated, and committed to achieving customer satisfaction and training objectives.

Ability to work varied shift schedules and travel globally up to 50% of the time.

Ability to work in underground mining environments as required.

Valid passport and driver’s licence.

Verbal and written English language proficiency is required.

Verbal and written Spanish language proficiency is considered an asset.





Completion of underground hard rock Common Core modules in accordance with applicable government and industry standards.

Completion of applicable MSHA certification modules is considered an asset.

The final compensation package will be determined based on the successful candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
