Deliver skilled social work services as a Military Social Work Officer in the Canadian Armed Forces. Enhance mental health support for CAF members and their families through clinical interventions.
The role of a Social Work Officer involves providing comprehensive social work services tailored to the unique challenges faced by military personnel. You will be instrumental in offering support during difficult times, assisting with clinical interventions and preventive programs including stress and family violence. Your expertise will guide personnel through complex social scenarios related to military life.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement clinical intervention strategies for personnel
• Support resolution of sensitive family situations




• Advise military leaders on social dynamics
• Investigate urgent compassionate issues
• Offer preventive programming for mental health
Requirements:
• Master of Social Work degree from a recognized institution
• Valid professional license to practice social work
• Two years of relevant clinical experience preferred
• Willingness to engage in military training and assignments
• Ability to work collaboratively with other agencies
