We are seeking an Application Developer to join Esri’s Geo Experience Center team, where you will contribute to building prototype applications that explore digital cartography, advanced map visualizations, and web-based GIS experiences.
Key Responsibilities Contribute to the design and implementation of user experiences for web applications, digital cartographic visualizations, and interactive map-based workflows
Work with modern web application frameworks such as React, Angular, Svelte, or Vue to build targeted, stand-alone web applications and reusable UI components
Collaborate with core development and SDK teams during release development sprints, providing feedback on APIs, beta capabilities, tools, workflows, documentation, and developer experience
Requirements Experience with modern web application frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, Svelte, or similar technologies
Experience with code management systems and CI/CD
Foundational understanding of digital cartography, data visualization, or geospatial application development
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, GIS, or related field




Ability to travel domestically or internationally up to 25–50%

Interest in geospatial technology and applying innovative approaches to solve complex visualization and application development challenges
Master's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, GIS, or a related field
