Broadway is seeking to add a hard-working Mechanical Estimator (Intermediate) to our Team. If you're experienced in Mechanical Estimating, have immaculate attention to detail, and want to join an cutting-edge organization where your work is valued,

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

Post-secondary degree, certificate, or diploma in construction/engineering, or an appropriate field. A combination of education and trade-work experience will also be considered.

A minimum of 2+ years of experience in mechanical estimating

Knowledge of building mechanical systems (HVAC, Refrigeration, Plumbing)

Emotional intelligence & good stress management, maintains the ability to work under pressure





Excellence in written and oral communication

Time management & the ability to adhere to deadlines

Knowledge of BC Building Code and ASHRAE Standards

Team Player & Motivated to work alone

Maintains the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks

Capable of reading and understanding blue prints (mechanical)

CANDIDATE TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Mechanical plan & drawing aptitude

Procurement & Bid Portal management/submission
Safety Certification & Training

BlueBeam, Adobe Acrobat, Procore

Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Progress & draw payment experience a plus
