This role is pivotal for ensuring the effective delivery of occupational safety and health programs. You will manage the MSI Program, promote safety awareness, and implement training initiatives. Collaborating with Kahnawà:ke Labor Office, you will meet with contractors and community members to resolve safety issues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage compensation for occupational injuries and diseases
• Develop strategic plans to enhance program delivery
• Research federal and provincial safety regulations
• Coordinate investigations on labor standards complaints
• Oversee safety training program delivery
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field
• One year of relevant safety management experience
• Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and codes
• Solid leadership and organizational abilities
• Valid Quebec Driver’s License
