Description The Co-op Refinery Complex (CRC) is hiring a Helper II – Equipment Mechanic/Pipefitter on a permanent basis on our Maintenance & Reliability team. This position requires on-site work and is based in Regina, SK.
Shift: 4 on 3 off
The key role of this position is to efficiently carry out duties in the Equipment Mechanic/Pipefitter Trade Section of the Mechanical Department at a helper level of responsibility.
The maintenanceportionof equipment isolations (installation of blanks).
New piping installations, rigging, and steam tracer/trap maintenance.
Other duties asrequired.
Whoyou’llwork with: The Team: You will work closely with other Tradesperson across the Maintenance Department and will report into the Trades Supervisor.

Candidates must follow the CCRL “Work-Safe” Approach. Completion of Grade XII including Chemistry 30, Physics 30, and Math/Algebra 30 isrequired. If the candidate is missing one of these three classes, the application will be acceptedprovidedthe missing class is completed within a prescribedtime period.

Candidates must have a superior mechanical aptitude withdemonstratedphysical adaptability for work of the EM/PF Trade, together with a good record in performance of semi-skilled maintenance work.
The person appointed to this position will berequiredto undertake the applicable trades training courses to qualify for advancement.
