The Lottery Manager oversees all aspects of lottery operations, including the development, implementation, and management of lottery games and programs. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of lottery regulations and a commitment to maintaining integrity and transparency in all lottery activities. The Lottery Manager collaborates with multiple departments and stakeholders to ensure that lottery operations run efficiently, profitably, and within regulatory frameworks.
Responsibilities will include:
Lead the end-to-end development, launch, execution, and ongoing management of all 50/50 lottery campaigns
Develop annual and campaign-specific lottery strategies to maximize participation and net revenue. Continuously evaluate and improve lottery operations, participant experience, and financial performance.
Maintain all required lottery licences, permits, registrations, renewals,
and approvals. Ensure compliance with provincial/federal lottery regulations
Maintain the organization's charitable gaming eligibility and ensure all required registrations remain current, including maintaining Google's Nonprofit status and charitable verification for lottery and raffle advertising where applicable.
Develop and manage the lottery operating budget and financial aspects of lottery operations
Prepare financial summaries and performance reports for leadership and the Board as required.
Oversee marketing and promotional activities for lottery games, in partnership with the Marketing team. Analyze campaign performance, customer behaviour, and sales trends to identify opportunities for increased revenue.
Assume full ownership and accountability for the successful operation of Chai Lifeline Canada's lottery program from planning through prize fulfillment and regulatory reporting.
Serve as the primary contact for all lottery vendors, consultants, software providers, payment processors, and external service provider
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues
Maintain security protocols to prevent fraud
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Experience in lottery management or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Proficiency in financial management
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with marketing and promotional strategies
Experience using lottery management software
Knowledge of provincial and federal lottery regulations
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a management role
Proven track record of successful project management
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Detail-oriented with high standards of accuracy
Strong leadership and team management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Valid driver’s license and access to regular use of a car
Salary range: $80,000 - $95,000
