About This Opportunity Please note this position is based in our Halifax office and applicants must be able to work on location at 1801 Hollis Street, Halifax, NS. Hybrid arrangements for applicants outside the local area will not be considered. Reporting to the BIM Manager, you will support BIM and drawing production by developing technical solutions for office and field work. You will contribute to preliminary and detailed design, tendering, and construction. Primary Accountabilities Your responsibilities will include:
Produce concept and detailed design drawings and 3D models for commercial, industrial, institutional, and other infrastructure projects.
Review drawings and 3D models.
Apply company and client drawing standards to all projects.
Coordinate design activities with internal teams, Revit/CAD technicians, sub-consultants, and external project teams.
Advise project managers and design leads on BIM workflows and project procedures.
Skills / Training Requirements This opportunity may be the right fit if you enjoy an open,

Minimum of 5 years' applicable experience.
Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD.
Knowledge of building mechanical systems, including HVAC and plumbing.
Strong coordination skills in 2D and 3D environments.
Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Strong focus on drawing production, presentation, and consistency.
Able to maintain quality and follow procedures in a fast-paced environment.
Understands company and client standards and procedures.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to work independently.
Note: Successful applicants must obtain Reliability Status clearance through the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate within 6 months of their start date.
