- Saskatchewan Professional A Teacher's Certificate (or confirmation of eligibility)
- Knowledge and experience applying best practices in the areas of instruction, curriculum,environment and assessment
- Knowledge of First Nations, Metis, and Inuit languages, histories, and cultures
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a team as well as independently

The Preferred Candidate will have:

- Familiarity and experience with Northern issues
- Graduate academic training in school administration
- Strong instructional leadership, organizational,



interpersonal, and communication skills
- Strong commitment to the schools plus/community schools and safe schools concept
