Job Overview
We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented VT Level 1 or 2, MT2 (Magnetic Particle Testing Level 2), and UT2 (Ultrasonic Testing Level 2) Technicians to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting precise nondestructive testing (NDT) inspections on construction sites and industrial facilities, ensuring the integrity and safety of critical structures. Your expertise will help uphold quality standards through thorough data collection, analysis, and inspection processes.

Duties
- Perform visual inspections and nondestructive testing (NDT) using magnetic particle (MT) and ultrasonic (UT) techniques on various construction components and materials.
- Collect accurate data during inspections, documenting findings meticulously for quality control purposes.
- Read and interpret construction blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to identify inspection points and critical areas.
- Analyze inspection results to assess material integrity, identify flaws or defects, and determine compliance with project specifications.
- Conduct construction site inspections to verify adherence to safety standards, quality protocols, and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with construction teams to provide real-time feedback on structural integrity and recommend corrective actions if necessary.
- Maintain detailed inspection records, reports, and logs in accordance with industry standards and company procedures.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of nondestructive testing methods such as magnetic particle testing (MT) and ultrasonic testing (UT).
- Excellent data collection and analysis skills to interpret inspection results accurately.
- Construction experience is highly desirable for understanding project workflows and structural requirements.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with confidence.
- Proven experience in quality control and construction inspection processes.
- Good communication skills for collaborating effectively with team members and documenting findings clearly.
- Attention to detail to ensure thorough inspections and precise reporting.
- Reliable Transportation (KM reimbursement for travel outside Edmonton)
