Profil du candidat Lingnieure de projet est responsable de lvaluation et de la restauration/rnovation des structures de btiments existants dans les secteurs rsidentiels, commerciaux et industriels et des systmes denvelaaoppe de btiments.
Le candidat retenu est laise de communiquer avec les clients, les entrepreneurs et de travailler sur des chantiers de construction actifs.
Un engagement fournir de solutions pratiques et cratives sont essentiels.
Il/elle sagit dun travailleur dvou et curieux qui prend ses responsabilits facilement et rapidement.
Pour russir dans ce rle, cette personne doit possder un esprit dquipe tout en ayant la capacit de travailler de manire autonome avec un minimum de direction.
Responsabilits principales Superviser et former le personnel junior, assurer la gestion de la production du groupe.
Coordonner avec d''autres disciplines dingnierie et darchitecture.
Grer les projets et assister les clients toutes les phases : conception, ralisation, administration des contrats.
Fournir un soutien technique et superviser lexamen des travaux termins avant la livraison au client.
Effectuer des relevs sur place et des valuations de structures et d''enveloppes de btiments.
Dvelopper des programmes de rhabilitation et recommander des concepts de projets.
Concevoir et analyser des lments de construction et systmes de btiments.
Prparer des rapports, tudes, dessins et devis pour rhabilitation et rnovation.
Commercialiser et solliciter des projets auprs de nouveaux et anciens clients.
Recueillir des donnes pour prparer des tudes et rapports sur les plans de dpenses en capital.
Effectuer des travaux dinvestigation et des diagnostics de problmes de construction.
Assurer la qualit sur site, la gestion de projet et l''administration des contrats.
Assurer la liaison avec les clients, entrepreneurs et fabricants.
Fournir un soutien technique et superviser lexamen des travaux termins avant la livraison au client.
Contribuer au plan de vente et marketing, identifier et grer les relations avec les clients.
Prparer et suivre les propositions et devis de projets, et assurer le respect des dlais.
Qualifications professionnelles et exprience ducation Diplme en gnie civil ou batiment dune universit accrdite.
Inscription ou admissibilit lOrdre des ingnieurs du Qubec.
Exprience Au moins 10+ ans d''exprience en ingnierie du btiment et restauration structurale.
Exprience en gestion dquipe et formation de juniors.
Exprience dans une firme de gnie-conseil, un atout.
Comptences Comptences exceptionnelles en communication en franais et en anglais.

Overview This position involves evaluating existing buildings and design solutions to our clients'' complex and unique problems.
Projects can be a mix of residential, multi-family and commercial, with an emphasis on fire, wind, flood and impact damage repair, the adaptive reuse of older buildings and upgrading existing facilities to accommodate changes in use and the introduction of equipment and machinery.
The Principal Consultant - Building Science will be responsible for the assessment and refurbishment/renovation of existing residential, commercial and industrial building structures and building envelope systems.
The successful candidate will be comfortable communicating with clients and contractors and working on active building sites. A commitment to providing practical and creative solutions is essential.
The candidate will be a dedicated and inquisitive worker who takes on responsibility quickly and easily.
To be successful in this role, this individual must be a team player with the ability to work independently with minimal direction.
This role is also responsible for promoting the companys expert services and securing new business for Rimkus and is critical for servicing and maintaining accounts with existing clients while increasing the firms presence in the local market.
The Salary Range for this position is $124,900 - $187,300 and is dependent on education, experience, location and certifications/licensure.
Main Responsibilities: Technical Responsibilities Supervise and train junior staff, manage group production.
Coordinate with other engineering and architectural disciplines.
Manage projects and assist clients at all stages, from design to construction and contract administration.
Provide technical support and oversee the review of completed work prior to delivery to the client.
Carry out on-site surveys and assessments of building structures and envelopes.
Develop rehabilitation programs and recommend project concepts.
Design and analyze building components and systems.
Prepare reports, studies, drawings and quotes for renovation and refurbishment work.
Market and request projects from new and existing clients.
Collect data to prepare studies and reports for capital expenditure projects.
Investigate and diagnose building problems.
Ensure site quality, project management and contract administration.
Liaise with clients, contractors and manufacturers.
Provide technical support and oversee the review of completed work prior to delivery to the client.
Prepare and monitor project proposals and quotations and ensure deadlines are met.
Business Development Contribute to the sales and marketing plan, identifying and managing client relationships.
Identify and pursue prospective clients leveraging internal and external resources to develop new relationships and opportunities.
Sells the companys services to prospective clients (i.e. corporate and commercial clients, municipalities, government agencies,
building owners, developers, etc.) to secure new client accounts, deeper client penetration, and repeat business.
Reinforces relationships with current clients through regular contact and promotion of value-added services for future business.
Qualifications and Experience Education Degree in civil or building engineering from an accredited university.
Professional engineer (P.
Eng.) designation in any of the Atlantic Canada provinces as a minimum, additional/multiple provinces are an asset.
Work Experience At least 10 years of experience in building engineering and structural restoration.
Experience in managing teams and training junior staff.
Professional-level experience in consultative sales, business development, client relationship management, or account management.
Experience in a consulting engineering firm is an asset.
Valid driver''s license and reliable transportation are required.
Personal Skills Excellent communication skills; bilingual in English and French is preferred.

Physical Demands, Overtime, and Travel Requirements Physical Demands Work is performed both in an office setting and at outside locations (i.e. industrial, construction and/or residential sites).
The employee is frequently required to stand, walk on sloped and flat roofs, sit, climb ladders, bend, climb inside attics, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and drive a motor vehicle to client sites or job sites.
Working at heights, including accessing buildings by ladders, swing stages, and mechanical lifts will be necessary.
The employee may lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Clear vision and depth perception are also necessary.
The employee must be sharp, focused, and alert when conducting inspections, speaking, and interacting with clients, preparing drawings and written reports.
Overtime There will be some occasions where overtime (or working after normal business hours) will be required to meet the demands of the position.
Travel This position requires up to 30% local area travel.
Some out-of-area and overnight travel may be required.
