Package 2 Information: CUPE Reduced -workload half-sessional Course Semester/Term Hours/Section Estimated Number of Students ECN 210 Fall 2026 3 hours/1 section 90 students/section ECN 340 Fall 2026 3 hours/1 section 110 students/section ECN 440 Fall 2026 3 hours/1 section 130 students/section b) A reduced workload half-sessional appointment is for at least 9 but less than 15 semester hours in any one semester.

Package 3 Information: CUPE Reduced -workload half-sessional Course Semester/Term Hours/Section Estimated Number of Students ECN 109** Fall 2026 3 hours/1 section 135 students/section ECN 109** Fall 2026 3 hours/1 section 135 students/section ECN 723 Fall 2026 3 hours/1 section 40 students/section b) A reduced-workload half-sessional appointment / one semester is for at least 9 but less than 15 semester hours in any one semester ** TA/GA support is academically required to deliver this course/section.

The successful applicant will be provided appropriate TA/GA support.

Additionally, if eligible, they will receive 20% of the total extra student payment as outlined in Article 17 of the Unit 1 Collective Agreement.





Package 4 Information: CUPE Part-time hourly Course Semester/Term Hours/Section Estimated Number of Students ECN 511 Fall 2026 3 hours/1 section 110 students/section c) A Part-time hourly appointment / one semester is for less than 9 semester hours in any one semester COMBINATIONS The teaching needs envisaged above are based on current FTE allocations and current expectations of enrolment numbers and patterns for Fall 2026.

Should these estimates prove inaccurate, the particular combinations of courses may change.

Qualifications Evidence may be requested for all categories. a. A minimum of a Masters degree in Economics or an equivalent excellent record of other academic credentials, professional designations and/or skilled experience appropriate to the area of instruction. b.

Previous experience teaching the actual course is highly desirable.

Practice field experience Current (past 3 years) practice in related field 6-10 (depends on quality of experience, including relevance to course, level of responsibility, relevant professional accreditation, etc.) Past (more than 3) years ago) practice in related field.

Currency Academic publications (refereed) in past 5 years.

Academic publications more than 5 years ago or current (less than 5 years) professional profile (including professional or academic presentations).

Other demonstrated professional currency (practitioner writing, courses taken).

Interactive Skills The following will be rated based on previous teaching ratings/evaluations: Lecture presentation Email Interaction Follow through with assignments
