In this full-time position, you’ll work closely with the Application Laboratory Manager. Your key focus will be on developing continuous-wave fiber optic systems and pulsed laser systems. Bring your expertise in optical fibers to test performance, analyze results, and communicate findings with the design team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Test and characterize optical fiber products
• Design laser systems and optical amplifiers
• Develop simulation models for photonic systems
• Present performance testing results effectively
• Plan impactful test bench assemblies

Requirements:
• Master’s or Ph.D. in Physical Engineering or related field
• Minimum three years in a photonics laboratory
• Strong knowledge of optical fibers; COMSOL experience an asset
• Proficient in French and English
• Familiarity with industrial manufacturing processes
