Your place in our story
This position helps to support the Construction Team deliver the construction of assigned homes from framing through to completion. It involves contributing to an exceptional customer experience and deliver on schedule, while upholding Minto's core values. It will also include identifying deficiencies, assessing, and completing repairs in a timely manner.
Here’s how you’ll contribute
Seek opportunities to assist our homeowners in order to provide an exceptional customer experience;
Present themselves in a skilled and customer focused manner in all interactions with homeowners;
Review,
assess and report any issues on safety to Health & Safety Rep or direct supervisor, includes ensuring protective gear used/worn
Complete repair lists resulting from quality control MPDI and PDO inspections;
Assist in identifying and assessing construction deficiencies and perform repairs in a timely manner
Report defects and damages to Construction Site staff if applicable;
Conduct interior repairs on windows, doors, frames, baseboards, floors;
Conduct carpentry finishing, as required;
Conduct repairs on insulation and drywall, as required;
Prepare the house for inspections including City and customer;
Ensure the complete cleanup of the home inside and out;
Conduct repairs on insulation and drywall, as required;
Other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job, as requested by management.

High School Diploma is an asset.
Minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience. On-job training is a must.
Computer skills are an asset
General knowledge of residential construction repairs
Communication skills (listening, verbal and written)
Independent worker
Dependable/Reliable
Team Player
Flexible to move to different projects and jobs
Attention to detail
Bilingualism is an asset
A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are required
Hiring pay range
$27-$32 per hour
