Our mission is exactly this: Finding the better solution to any given transportation, energy, and infrastructure challenge or opportunity that ultimately affects peoples’ day-to‑day lives. As Head of IT Modernization within Corporate Affairs, and part of the wider Shared Services Group, your mission will be to make the lives of our global team members easier through technology.
You’ll help establish, lead, and oversee a current internal capability focused on digital transformation, AI enablement, automation, data, dashboards, and business systems improvement. As an individual contributor, you will connect the company’s strategy with execution, translating business needs into modern technology solutions that make work easier, faster, and more effective.

Own the process and results of all technical aspects of our IT modernization efforts, which will require independence and strong initiative.

Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to Legal, Compliance, and Talent Management to ensure IT solutions meet organizational and governance standards related to responsible AI usage, data privacy, human oversight, risk management, monitoring, approval workflows, and compliance requirements as well as applicable regulatory obligations for sensitive and regulated data.
Develops success metrics, operational KPIs, and value realization frameworks to measure productivity improvements, operational efficiencies, cost savings, quality enhancements, risk reduction, and business impact.

Comfort working in environments where systems and processes are evolving while day‑to‑day business continues.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
The legal right to work in Canada.
This will set you apart from other candidates
Experience with AI‑enabled tools or internal product development, workflow automation, data/reporting, dashboards.
