Hub Copilot, Claude Code) Location: Montreal- Hybrid in office 3 days a week Face-2-Face interview round required with Client Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with 7-10 years of experience in designing and building enterprise-grade applications.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Core Java, Data Structures & Algorithms, Distributed Systems, Multi-threaded Architecture, and Linux environments.

Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Git

Hub Copilot and Claude Code is highly desirable to accelerate software development and improve engineering productivity.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance Java-based applications.

Build and optimize distributed and microservices-based systems.

Develop robust, multi-threaded and concurrent applications with a focus on performance and reliability.

Participate in solution design, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making.

Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Work in Linux/Unix environments for development, deployment, and troubleshooting.

Utilize AI-powered developer tools such as Git

Hub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar platforms throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.





Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and production support activities.

Required Skills 7-10 years of strong hands-on experience in Java development.

Excellent knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.

Strong experience in designing and developing distributed systems.

Deep understanding of multi-threading, concurrency, and performance tuning.

Solid experience working in Linux/Unix environments.

Basic understanding of Python for scripting and automation.

Experience with REST APIs, Microservices Architecture, and up-to-date software design patterns.

Familiarity with AI-powered development tools such as Git

Hub Copilot, Claude Code, or equivalent.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Dev

Ops practices.

Understanding of software security and performance optimization.

Agile & Collaboration Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and iterative software development practices.

Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
