Monitor and project pricing for WECC and CAISO power and gas markets Analyze supply/demand fundamentals, transmission constraints, and weather impacts.

Trading Support Provide actionable insights to traders for day-ahead and real-time positions.

Assist in developing hedging strategies and optimizing asset dispatch.

Risk Management & Compliance Ensure adherence to Capital Powers risk policies and regulatory requirements.

Track exposure and report P&L; impacts to management.

Data & Reporting Maintain accurate market data and develop dashboards for performance tracking.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly market summaries for internal stakeholders.

Collaboration Work closely with traders, schedulers, and risk teams to align strategies.

Support cross-functional initiatives related to portfolio optimization.

What you must have: Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics,



Engineering, or related field 2+ years of experience in energy trading, analytics, or power/gas markets.

Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Python preferred).

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Experience with ETRM systems and ISO scheduling platforms.

Knowledge of renewable integration and congestion management strategies.
