Position Overview Under the general direction of the Medical Director, Radiology and/or Diagnostic Imaging Manager, the incumbent is responsible for Perform routine Radiological procedures including portables.

Assist radiologist with fluoroscopy procedures, (upper and lower gastrointestinal and urinary exams, tube management, etc.).

Assist physicians and surgeons using fluoroscopy in the OR. (Retrogrades, line placements, orthopedic exams, etc.) Assist physicians and surgeons using fluoroscopy in the DI department (facets, hysterosalpingograms, hip injections, etc.).

Perform unfused CT head exams.

Experience Previous related experience preferred.

Familiarity with PACS and RIS preferred.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Graduation from a recognized school of Medical Imaging Technology.

On-going participation in relevant courses, seminars, etc., required.

Certification/Licensure/Registration Currently registered with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (C.A.M.R.T.).

May be exposed to radiation (within acceptable limits).

May be required to occasionally work extended hours.
