Your expertise in coherent and direct-detect optical systems, along with electrical and optical interfaces, will guide cross-functional teams through product life cycles. Collaborate closely with silicons, optics, and firmware teams to meet the massive bandwidth needs of contemporary data centers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define system requirements and product architecture for optical transceivers
• Develop specifications, performance targets, and trade-off analyses
• Lead architecture decisions on DSPs and laser technologies
• Evaluate modulation schemes for optimized performance and cost
• Mentor engineers in various technical disciplines
Requirements:
• BS in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, or related field
• 12+ years in optical communications or transceiver development
