Become a vital part of Onni’s in-house litigation practice as a Junior Litigation Counsel. This role manages a diverse litigation portfolio across British Columbia and beyond, focusing on sophisticated commercial disputes.

Reporting directly to the General Counsel, you will handle civil litigation matters, from construction disputes to regulatory proceedings. You will instruct external counsel, conduct early assessments, and prepare litigation strategies while advising stakeholders on risk and exposure. This position exposes you to agile legal challenges within a major real estate enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage civil litigation including contract and leasing disputes
• Instruct and supervise external litigation counsel effectively




• Conduct case assessments and prepare litigation strategies
• Review pleadings, draft letters and settlement agreements
• Advise on commercial leasing and landlord-tenant matters

Requirements:
• Member in good standing with the BC Law Society
• 1-3 years post-call experience preferred
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Highly organized with keen attention to detail
• Sound judgment in communicating legal risks
