Job Description
On behalf of our client, Affinity is seeking a .NET Developer for a contract based in Vancouver.

Overview
Our client is seeking a Software Developer to join a Real-Time Information System (RTIS) product team. This team is responsible for improving the accuracy, performance, and reliability of real-time vehicle positioning and arrival prediction systems .

Working within an Agile product team, you'll design, develop, deploy, and support cloud-native applications and Azure infrastructure while contributing to a high-impact, customer-facing platform.

Top 3 Skills

3+ years of C# / .NET development

Azure cloud development (Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Terraform)

API, microservices, and containerized application development (Docker/Kubernetes)

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy .NET applications and APIs.

Build and maintain Azure App Services, Function Apps, SQL databases, and private endpoints.

Develop and support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

Provision and manage Azure infrastructure using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).

Integrate applications with CMS platforms, identity services (Azure Entra ID), and third-party systems.





Perform unit and integration testing to ensure quality and reliability.

Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design.

Implement application monitoring using Azure Application Insights and related tools.

Produce technical documentation and participate in knowledge transfer activities.

Required Experience

3+ years of experience developing applications with C# and .NET.

Experience building REST APIs and microservices.

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native application development.

Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.

Experience provisioning Azure resources using Terraform.

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Additional Information

Full-time contract (37.5 hours/week)

Hybrid work model with approximately 40% onsite presence required.
