We have an existing opportunity to add an Electrical Engineer/Fire Investigator to our team!
You will work in a hybrid capacity supporting the Dartmouth, NS area.
This is a site-based position.
Job Description Assess, analyze and report on the origin and cause fires.
Interview witnesses, service personnel and other local officials.
Inspections shall include, but not be limited to, roofs, attics, crawlspaces, partially destroyed buildings, fire damaged buildings, and elevated structures.
Able to recognize potential subrogation opportunities.
The ability to climb, work at heights, and work at all temperatures is required.
The ability to assess the general safety of damaged fire structures is essential.
Lead project(s) from start to finish.
Provide explicit, accurate, and timely reports.
Assess, analyze and report on the origin and cause for electrical failures.
Familiar with CSA, ASTM, NFPA codes and applications for a range of mechanical and electrical equipment.
Candidates are required to have their own vehicle and license.
We are looking for anyone throughout Atlantic Canada.
Our billing centers are Dieppe NB & Dartmouth NS.
Office space can be provided but some work from home is required.
