The candidate will be responsible for driving strategic execution of inventory flow through the establishment and adjustment of inventory parameters to support replenishment and allocation activities.
The candidate will leverage systems, tools, and data to optimize inventory investments across store locations, distribution centers, and e-commerce channels.
The candidate will analyze historical data and current trends to identify business risks and opportunities and recommend strategies to achieve financial goals.
The candidate will execute planning, reporting, and analysis decision support under the direction of a manager or planner.
The candidate will execute detailed analysis to drive category performance.
The candidate will develop sales projections and inventory flow for key items.
The candidate must develop seasonal flow recommendations to optimize sales performance and guest satisfaction.
The candidate will drive financial results that maximize sales, inventory, and bottom-line profitability.
The candidate will prepare for and participate in Merchandise Review meetings.
The candidate will provide support to Merchandising to actively manage product assortment throughout the season, including inventory, MDs, and related activities.
The candidate must exhibit initiative to look beyond everyday business activities and identify opportunities to maximize sales potential.
Job Requirements The candidate must hold a college certificate or university degree.
The candidate must have 1-3 years of merchandise planning experience.
The candidate must have previous experience with merchandise and planning systems.
The candidate will be required to demonstrate advanced proficiency in Excel.
The candidate must be an excellent team player with the ability to work independently.
The candidate must possess effective written and verbal communication skills.
The candidate must be extremely organized, thorough, and able to prioritize effectively.
The candidate must be detail orientated.
The candidate must have a strong ability to see the merchandise vision and translate it into viable plans.
The candidate must be results oriented with a strong sense of motivation.
The candidate must be a self-directed problem solver who is proactive and resourceful.
