This roleis responsibleforprovidingexpert guidance on labour relations matters, ensuring policy and regulatory compliance, and leading workplace investigations.The successful candidate will also manage human rights related casesand work closely withtheOffice of the General Counselensuring fairandlegallycompliant outcomes.

This role partners closely with Human Resources, business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders tosupport employeewellbeing,engagement initiatives andtoadvance diversity,equityand inclusion priorities across the organization.

The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, sound judgement, and the ability to navigate sensitive situations with professionalism and confidentiality.

This positionwill support operations across Canada,based in Windsor, Ontario and will berequired tobe on-site in our Canada headquarters office building.

KeyResponsibilities include:

Provideexpert advice tomanagement teams on labour relations matters, including collective agreement interpretation, conflictresolutionand employee relations issues

Partner with leadership to promote fair and consistent application of policies and practices

Oversee Human Rights and Workplace Violence Investigation processincluding case management and escalation

Lead and conduct thorough, impartial investigations into complaints related to harassment,discriminationand other human rights concerns

Recommend corrective actions and support implementation of outcomes





Monitor and ensure compliance with employment legislation, human rightslawsand internal company policies

Work closely with internal and external legal counsel on human rights and litigation cases

Review, develop and update workplace policies to reflect legislative changes and organizational needs

Conduct audits and risk assessments toidentifygaps in compliance and recommend improvements

Additionalresponsibilities include leadership training and development, diversity, inclusion & employee engagement initiatives, return to work and accommodation procedures

This position is for an existing vacancy.

The salary for this position is$90,000 to $125,000 per year.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degreepreferably inHuman Resources,Industrial Relations,Lawor related field

Minimum EIGHT (8)years ofprogressiveexperiencewith a focus inLabourRelations positions,workingwithin a unionizedenvironment





Demonstrated experienceconductingworkplaceinvestigations,management ofescalation files,andlegal,human rightscase management

Proven experience in grievancemanagementand collective bargaining

Experience partnering withstakeholders including internal teams and externalcommunity organizations

Strong knowledge of employment standards,labourlaw, and human rights legislation

Experience supervising,coachingand developing staff

Experience working in a manufacturing, automotive,or multi-site environment is considered an asset

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

Ability to build strong networks with internal and external stakeholders,maintainingkey relationships at all levels

Proven project management and change management skills

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced setting

Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills

Proven ability to drive diversity, equity,inclusionand employee engagementinitiatives
