The Wastewater Treatment
Specialist possesses knowledge in the environmental field as well as practical work experience that benefits all members of the department. The responsibilities of the Wastewater Treatment Specialist include: Wastewater Treatment - Guide the company and its partners in understanding and applying the Regulation Respecting Wastewater Disposal Systems for Isolated Dwellings (Q-2, r.22) - Provide technical guidance to the company and its partners regarding the System O and other DBO Expert equipment, including design, installation, operation, maintenance,
and troubleshooting - Participate in the annual training of partners (installers, engineers, and skilled technologists) on treatment systems and applicable regulations - Perform various engineering and technical calculations - Develop technical tools (calculation sheets, technical data sheets) for internal use and for partners - Produce technical drawings and standard plans - Update company practices to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations - Participate in the execution of technical projects within the Commercial sector, including preliminary budget estimates, preparation of design specifications, plan development, coordination of internal and external equipment, proposal preparation, system commissioning, and preparation of operation and maintenance instructions Research and Development - Participate in the development of new products, technologies, and accessories - Enhance and optimize existing products - Conduct laboratory-scale, pilot-scale, and full-scale testing General Responsibilities - Respond to questions from employees (inspectors, technicians, sales representatives, and customer service personnel) and contribute to their technical training - Respond to inquiries from ministry analysts, municipal inspectors, designers, installers, representatives, and customers - Contribute to the preparation of documents and articles aimed at sharing knowledge with clients and designers - Participate in updating guides and other technical documents - Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of quality management processes - Participate in technical committees, tradeshows, and industry events Your profile - Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD - Valid driver’s license - Bilingual (French and English) - Strong attention to detail, versatility, problem‑solving skills, organizational and follow‑up abilities, teamwork, and effective communication skills
