Position Overview Under the supervision of the Manager of Patient Care, the Health Care Aide position is responsible for aiding the patients and residents at the Churchill Regional Health Authority with everyday activities.
Experience Previous Health Care Aide experience an asset.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Successful completion of a Health Care Aide training program.
Current CPR Certification required and updated annually.
Certification/Licensure/Registration Not Applicable Qualifications and Skills Must be trustworthy, reliable and able to work independently.
Robust oral and written communication skills.
Ability to read/write Cree or Dene an asset.
Physical Requirements Possible heavy lifting at times.
Possible posture and muscle problems.
Possible contact with clients with aggressive behavior.
Other demands as it pertains to position.
