Details: This position meets the criteria for a probationary/permanent contract.

Successful Term Rehire Teachers who are fully qualified will be issued a probationary/permanent contract and will become a permanent member of the schools teacher complement.

Teachers should only apply for these positions if they are prepared to accept a probationary/permanent contract.

Fully qualified External Teachers, Recent Hire Teachers by way of Term Contract, and Substitute Teachers may be issued a probationary contract and become a permanent member of the schools teacher complement.

Candidates for all French Second Language Positions must also complete a French Proficiency Interview (FPI) with the Halifax Regional Centre for Education French Program Consultants who will assess the candidate''s competency in French (oral and written).
