Job Title: Daytime Truck Helper

Job Type: Temporary Ongoing

Location: Dartmouth, Nova Scotia (various work locations)

Shift: Monday-Friday, 8AM - 4PM

Hourly Pay: $17.00/hr

Job Overview:

Our client is seeking a reliable Truck Helper to support delivery drivers in moving and delivering fuel to residential and commercial customers. This physically demanding role involves working outdoors and requires solid teamwork, communication, and attention to safety. If you are dependable, physically capable, and enjoy hands-on work, this could be a perfect opportunity.

Responsibilities:

- Assisting the Driver:
- Support navigation, delivery setup, and ensure daily routes are completed efficiently and safely.

- Hauling Hoses:

- Handle and maneuver heavy fuel hoses to and from the delivery vehicle during service stops.





- Fueling Residential and Commercial Buildings:

- Connect hoses and assist with fuel delivery while following strict safety protocols.

- Load and Unload Equipment:

- Help move delivery materials, tools, and safety equipment.

- Other Duties as Assigned:

- Maintain a clean and organized work area and perform general labour tasks as instructed.

Requirements:

- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more repeatedly
- CSA-approved safety shoes required
- Comfortable with repetitive lifting, pushing, and physical labour
- Dangerous Goods training may be required for certain work locations
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
