Job Title: Class 1 Driver

Location: Bedford, Nova Scotia

Schedule: 6AM - 2PM

Rate of Pay: $27/hour

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Class 1 Driver to join a professional and cooperative team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, a team-first attitude, and a desire to grow within a stable organization.

Responsibilities:

- Perform yard shunting, including moving and spotting trailers at designated dock doors.
- Safely maneuver trailers within the yard and facility grounds.
- Hook, unhook, and position trailers as required for operations.
- Load and unload products when necessary.
- Follow all safety procedures and site-specific regulations.

Requirements:

- Valid Class 1 Driver's License.
- Minimum two (2) years of verifiable Class 1 driving experience in Canada.
- Prior shunting experience is an asset.
- Current Driver Abstract (issued within the past 30 days).
- Strong reliability, dependability, and teamwork skills.
