Advantage Personnel is currently seeking experienced Class 1 Drivers for full-time, permanent cross-border dry van operations based out of Halifax, NS. Responsibilities:
- Complete scheduled dry van runs throughout Canada and the USA
- Safely operate Class 1 vehicles in accordance with transportation regulations
- Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams
- Ensure freight is transported safely and efficiently
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 Driver's License
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class 1 driving experience
- Clean criminal record and driver's abstract
- FAST Card considered a strong asset
- Strong commitment to safety and professionalism
- Reliable, organized, and able to manage long-haul schedules
