What you'll do Design and develop injection molds for various applications, ensuring they meet the required specifications and quality standards.
Collaborate with engineers and product managers to understand project requirements and translate them into effective mold designs.
Utilize CAD software to create detailed mold designs, including 3D models and technical drawings.
Conduct mold flow analysis to optimize designs for manufacturability and performance.
Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure seamless transition from design to production, addressing any issues that may arise during the process.
Perform design reviews and provide feedback to improve mold performance and reduce production costs.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in injection molding technology to incorporate best practices into your designs.




Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities related to mold performance and production efficiency.
Prepare documentation for mold designs, including specifications, assembly instructions, and maintenance guidelines.
Assist in the training and mentoring of junior designers and interns, fostering a cooperative learning environment.
Engage with clients to gather feedback on mold performance and make necessary adjustments to meet their needs.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations throughout the design and manufacturing processes.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in injection mold design or a similar role.
Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD, for mold design and modeling.
Strong understanding of injection molding processes, materials, and best practices.
Experience with mold flow analysis software is highly desirable.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.




Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to mold design and manufacturing.
Nice to have Experience with advanced manufacturing techniques, such as additive manufacturing or CNC machining.
Knowledge of automation and robotics in the injection molding process.
Previous experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Certification from a recognized professional organization in mold design or engineering.
