Experience of authoring functional/technical designs documents including performance,securityand availability considerations
Proven experience of developing new features and services that are medium tohigh levelof complexity working with the Product, Platform, Infrastructure and Security teams
Proven ability to design, code, test, deploy & support working software/technology components, working collaboratively with architects and other engineers
Experience in delivering clean, secure, performant code / technology components that meets all non-functional requirements
Experience in leading discussions on design approaches to solving highly visible,strategicand complex business problems
Experience inestablishingdevelopment process definitions, bestpracticesand standards
Experienceidentifyingemerging technologies for consideration fornew technologydirection and implementing proof of concepts to prove thenew technology
Proven ability to create Threat Model, Architecture, Estimates, Design, Code,and deliverfor the required business feature
Experience of acting in a Lead Engineer capacity formedium to largeinitiatives, prioritizing and assigning tasks, providingguidanceand resolving issues
Proven ability to mentor more junior engineers across the technical domains/enterprise

We areseekinga motivated, talented, experienced Staff Engineer who has deepMicrosoft .NETDevelopmentknowledge and experience to design and implement business functionality in their assigned Platforms / Products using and creatingDevSecOpsbest practices. We want people thatcan support and lead the technical strategy in their product team and communicateeffectively withtechnical and non-technical associates.
MinimumExperience 10+ years of hands‑on software development experience focused on the Microsoft .NET ecosystem (C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core).
Extensive experience designing, developing, andoptimizingSQL Server databases, including complex queries, stored procedures, indexing strategies, and performance tuning.
Ability to work with mainframe SMEs toreverse-engineerlogic and map it into modern .NET domain models.
Ability to read,analyzeand interpretMainframe code such as COBOL, JCL,VSAMand DB for z/OS schemas.
Experienceextracting and transforming data from MainframeDB2 and IMS.
Hands-on experience designing and building data extraction pipelines from mainframe systems into modern platforms (SQL, cloud storage, APIs, microservices).
Experience working on large-scale data migration or systemmodernizationprojects.
Proventrack recorddelivering high‑quality, scalable, secure, and maintainable applications across medium to large projects.
Strong understanding of application architecture principles, API design, and up-to-date development practices such as dependency injection, CI/CD, unit testing, and code quality standards.
Experience collaborating closely with Product, Platform, Infrastructure, and Security teams to design and implement end‑to‑end technical solutions.
Ability to lead technical discussions, provide architectural input, and solve complex, highly visible business problems.
Demonstrated experience mentoring junior developers and contributing to engineering best practices, standards, and development processes.




DesirableExperience Experiencewith cloud platforms (Azure preferred), including App Services, Functions, Key Vault, APIM, and cloud‑native design patterns.
Familiarity with modern frontend technologies (e.g., Angular, or Blazor)
Experience with Entity Framework, LINQ, microservices architectures
Extensive experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), including designing,optimizing, and supporting complex ETL processes, data workflows, andintegration ofpipelines.
Experiencewithtools such as Git, Azure DevOps, SonarQube, or similar development andDevSecOpstools.
Experience with performance profiling, debugging, and monitoring .NET and SQL Server applications in production environments.
Knowledge ofthe automationtools (e.g.REXX, Python) is preferable.
Experience mentoring engineers of varying levels, elevating engineering maturity, shaping development processes, and championing best‑in‑class development practices (CI/CD, testing strategies, code quality).

This position has a starting salary range of $116,200.00 to $151,000.00 per year. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual incentive as well as long-term incentives.
