Prairie Co-op is hiring a Permanent Full Time Ag Retail Manager at our Agro Centre in Melville, SK.

What youll do:
The Ag Retail Manager is responsible for leadership, sales growth, customer relationships and overall performance of Prairie Co-ops agriculture business in Melville & Ituna. This role provides day-to-day direction of the Ag Team while ensuring financial, safety, customer sales & service (on farm/in store) and operational objectives are achieved.

Provide operational direction and oversight in the implementation of programs and policies.

Oversee and execute sales strategies. Responsible for building robust customer relationships and delivering solutions.

Responsible for the sales, marketing and promotion of Crop Inputs,



Grain storage, and Handling solutions within the Melville and Ituna trading area.

Oversee the completion and follow through of all safety and environmental policies and procedures.

Prepare, administer, and achieve budgeted goals as it relates to the pricing, sales, margins, expenses, and inventory of the commodity

Provide leadership to the team, including the recruitment, goal setting, performance management, training and development of team members and employee engagement

Other duties as assigned

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Agriculture and:

You have a post-secondary education in Agriculture or equivalent experience

P.Ag or CCA is preferred.

You have minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience

Must be legally authorized to work in Canada

You're honest and trustworthy and believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions.
