Duties
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and ensuring their needs are met with enthusiasm
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, accurately processing transactions and handling cash and card payments
- Assist with food preparation and food handling to maintain high standards of safety and quality
- Support serving staff by delivering orders promptly and ensuring proper presentation
- Manage cashiering duties, including cash handling, basic math calculations, and balancing registers at shift end
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Adapt quickly to different roles such as barista tasks or food prep as needed during shifts
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, including barista or serving experience
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and explicit communication abilities
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and register operations accurately
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and peak hours on a part-time basis
- Food industry experience or related background is highly desirable
